Our Team.
Director: George Lerner an Emmy®-nominated former producer for CNN, working with Christiane Amanpour, and for PBS, where he made short documentaries on landmark elections in the Democratic Republic of Congo and South Sudan. His critically acclaimed debut novel, "The Ambassadors," (Pegasus Books) published in 2014, dealt with the aftermath of the Shoah.
Producer: Tia Lessin is an Oscar®-nominated filmmaker who filmmaker who directed and produced, with Carl Deal, “Trouble the Water” (winner of the Gotham Independent Film Award and the Grand Jury Prizes at the Sundance and Full Frame Film Festivals) and director of “The Janes” (winner of the duPont Columbia Award and three Emmys, including Outstanding Documentary).
Co-Producer: Alyson Shotz is an internationally-recognized artist whose sculpture and video work have been featured in museums around the world. Married to our director, she traveled to Poland to help with field production in Jasło.
