Director: George Lerner an Emmy®-nominated former producer for CNN, working with Christiane Amanpour, and for PBS, where he made short documentaries on landmark elections in the Democratic Republic of Congo and South Sudan. His critically acclaimed debut novel, "The Ambassadors," (Pegasus Books) published in 2014, dealt with the aftermath of the Shoah.
Producer: Tia Lessin is an Oscar®-nominated filmmaker who was the director and producer, with Carl Deal, of Trouble the Water (winner of the Gotham Independent Film Award and the Grand Jury Prizes at the Sundance and Full Frame Film Festivals) and of Citizen Koch, a film about the rise of the Tea Party in the Midwest, shortlisted for the 2015 Oscars.
